What's new at HeadRoom? The CEO!

Hello HeadRoom fans, First, I want to say thank you for giving us your business over the years. We greatly appreciate it. I'm Jamey Warren, the new CEO here at HeadRoom. Some of you already know who I am as I've spent about seven years total working here in various capacities. Some of my favorite moments at HeadRoom were being part of the product development team for our line of headphone amps and DAC's you see today. Equally exciting to me was helping to develop our headphone test procedure and the redesign of our website to what you see today. While I don't have a crystal ball, I'm looking forward to what the future holds for HeadRoom. We have seen a lot of changes during our 20+ years in business and we will continue to adapt over time. Whether it be on vinyl, CD, iPod, or mobile phone, for us it has always been about the music. Our commitment to music will never change but the technology will. We'll be bringing you all the latest headphones and related accessories to help you hear your music better than ever. I'm guessing some of you will have some questions for me. I look forward to talking with you so that I can learn what it takes to get it Right Between Your Ears. Over the next year you'll notice some changes to the types and brands of products we carry. We'll also be looking for other ways to connect with our customers. Our goal with any of these changes is to bring a smile to your face with great sounding music and providing excellent customer service. If you ever feel like you didn't get that please let us know. If you have any questions you can always email me directly, jamey@headphone.com or call 1-800-828-8184 and ask for me. I will also be making a few changes to this blog to make it more accessible to you and will be posting more frequently as we have news to share. You can also connect with us on our head-fi.org sponsor page. Also, I will personally be participating in an AMA (ask me anything) on reddit.com. While I can't predict the future, I do hope to share my thoughts with you as to where HeadRoom and the headphone industry as a whole is going. We never imagined the headphone business would get so huge. Well, maybe we did but we're still surprised to see all of the great sounding new headphones that were released in 2012. We're looking forward to listening to and testing the best headphones in 2013. Along with the substantial growth of the headphone market we've seen a impressive smattering of headphone amps released lately. We'll be adding more from your favorite manufacturers this year and will let you know how they stack up against each other. Thanks again, Jamey Warren
